Pick up from Hotel starting at 09:00 am. Transfer to Huaca El Dragón, an archaeological site belonging to the Chimú culture. This temple is surrounded by a wall whose decoration was dedicated to the Rainbow as a symbol of fertility. We continue the tour visiting Chan Chan, known as Nik-An Palace, political and administrative capital of the Chimú Kingdom. Its original extension was more than 20 km2; currently it covers only 14 km2, being considered as "The Longest Mud City in the World". On November 28, 1986, UNESCO declared Chan Chan Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Transfer to the Huanchaco Spa, a place where the Mochicas gave rise to ceviche, a dish of Peruvian cuisine of international recognition; cove of artisanal fishermen, where you can still appreciate the use of the ancient boats known as caballitos de totora. Free time for lunch on your own (1 hour). Transfer to the site Museum "Huacas de Moche" where you can appreciate the iconography of this culture, in addition to the highly internationally recognized ceramics called huacos, portraits or figures of gold and silver, ritual scenes, of battles between warriors, where the defeated they were taken to the temple to be sacrificed and obtain blood, a symbol of fertility and renewal of their power; Offering offered to his divinity Ai APaec or God slaughtering. We continue the tour visiting the Huacas del Sol y de la Luna complex, which includes two large truncated pyramids, in a landscape characterized by the imposing Cerro Blanco. Both huacas constituted the center of power of the millennial Mochica people, which developed between the years 100 and 900 after Christ. Today, in the middle of these two pyramids, the urban nucleus composed of large avenues, houses, alleys, squares and corridors is still preserved underground. Return to Plaza de Armas
